We are really proud to announce we will be supporting East Lothian Foodbank with their “Jingle Bag” collection this year and we are asking our families to make a donation from the attached list to help make Christmas easier for families who are struggling at this time.

We will have a donation box available at the Aubigny from Wednesday and there is a list of suitable items attached to this post.

“Since East Lothian Foodbank first launched their Jingle Bag appeal in 2017 they’ve given out over 1000 jingle bags to those who need support across the county. Not everyone looks forward to Christmas and it can be a particularly hard time of year for those who are struggling to feed themselves and their families. East Lothian Foodbank’s Jingle Bags contain everything needed to celebrate Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.

We realise things are different this year and it is a big ask at a time when so many people are struggling but we’re determined to do all we can to support those in our community who need us and we’d like to help fill East Lothian Foodbank’s jingle bags . If you’re able to help by donating any of the items on the jingle bag shopping list we’d be very grateful and we know the foodbank will be too."
