Round 1 of the Coverdale is this Friday 20 September. Warm up is 1800 with an 1830 start. It’s a comp for our newest swimmers and such great fun for everyone involved! Everyone’s child’s has swum in this comp at some point and the parents of older swimmers have always dug in to make sure we’re covered by officials.

Demi had selected her team and I’m assuming that all 4 of the parents who are officials will rock up to help on Friday. Now this leaves me seriously short of officials😭 If you are available to help out poolside, I’m not even insisting on white trousers, tops maybe, please come along on Friday. Remember someone else’s parent came and supported your child so email me with availability please. John Sluman will be providing the jokes and Bob Erskine has already been roped in as announcer.

If you have a child swimming in the Coverdale and aren’t an official I have jobs that I need people for, marshalling, sweets, water. You’ll still get to watch the racing. Please email me if you’d like to help out.
